Q: I must insert registration info after each restart. Why?

Q: I must insert registration info after each restart. Why?

A: If the registration info is accepted by the program then it is persisted to options.ini file that is located in the installation folder. If the program does not have write access to the installation folder then the options.ini file is not saved and the inserted registration info is not persisted and is required next start again. This happens in many cases when the program is installed to "c:\program files\..." folder. To prevent this there are these options:

1. Make a clean install of a new version higher or equal to 8.2.0. (Clean install means that you install the program to a new and empty folder. Installing the new version to an existing folder with older version of the program is NOT a clean install.)

or

2. Enable write access to the installation folder.

or

3. Install the program to other folder that has write access guaranteed.

I know this may be akin to asking for the recipe for secret sauce, but would it be possible to provide the runtime variable options used by options.ini for the license key? I am just trying to save myself from having to uninstall/reinstall, and figure Notepad++ may be able to drop the license key into the file...

I suspect these to be the correct runtime variables, but I am not sure what values to use. My registration name and license key number did not prevent the reprompt, maybe the MD5 checksum of those values?

name=
regnum=

If you are unable to spill these particular beans, I fully understand, and I will just do the manual reinstall process...

Thank you most kindly,
